John Gibbons John Gibbons has been with the firm since 1989, in its Mobile office. John is the lawyer in the firm primarily responsible for the litigation of work-related injuries, including Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation cases, and Alabama State Workers' Compensation cases. He was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 1989; and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Alabama; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. He received his JD in 1989, from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University. While at Cumberland, he authored "Tulsa Professional Collection Services v. Pope: Here Lies John Doe - But When May He Rest in Peace?," American Journal of Trial Advocacy, Vol. 13:1, Fall, 1989. He received his BS from Spring Hill College, in 1985.
